Stafford Communications Expands North American Operations with Canadian Call Center

New Jersey-based customer service, compliance and marketing firm
to add more than 30 jobs to meet growing demand for customer care services

New Providence, New Jersey (October 18, 2017) — Amid Sears’ recent de facto abandonment of its plans to establish two call centers in New Brunswick, Canada, New Jersey-based Stafford Communications is expanding its Canadian call center operations. The addition of more than 30 customer service professionals at its call center in Rothesay, a suburb of Saint John, will help businesses throughout North America meet today’s consumer demands for high-quality customer care. Stafford specializes in customer service consulting, contact center services and compliance.

Stafford Communications represents hundreds of well-known consumer brands – including pharmaceutical, healthcare, food and consumer packaged goods companies.  Founded in 1995, Stafford has offices in Rothesay, New Brunswick, Canada and New Providence, New Jersey. They opened its Canadian division last year when the Unilever call center in Saint John shut its doors. 

“When Unilever made the decision to close that facility, we knew the time was right for us to enter into the Canadian marketplace,” added Stafford. “We need excellent talent representing the brands that count on us to take care of their customers, and we found a highly skilled, bilingual pool of dedicated customer service professionals in New Brunswick.”

Since the opening of Stafford’s call center there in April 2016, its North American staff has grown by 50 percent. Stafford plans to continue growing and expanding in New Brunswick.
